Filipino Connection?

We were over at our friends house this past week trying to have a Bible study. "Trying" is the operative word when you have a 2 year old that's jacked up on a spoonful of coffee! It was a fun time, we're still trying to settle in here and these episodes help us feel settled in a little more each time.

We got on to the topic of adopting from the Philippines. Amanda and I have had a desire to adopt for the past 4 years but still have a while to go as Amanda does not yet meet the age requirement. We're looking to possibly adopt a sibling group of 3. This adoption plan is regardless of whether we have "biological" children. Our friend Isaac from the Bible study apparently is friends with another couple who are are in the midst of adopting from the Philippines. Hopefully we'll get to met up with these people and chit-chat about their experiences. It'll be nice also to start building a Filipino community for when our kids arrive!
