I hadn't planned on getting a PFD any time soon, but we found ourselves browsing the racks at REI last week and saw this one that was marked at 35% off because it was last years model. I just couldn't pass it up. The only problem is that it's not quite kayaking season yet. A lot of the lakes here in MN still have ice on them, and even the ones that don't are a little too chilly for doing rolls.
Two thoughts:
1) Now I need to find the clearance rack of kayaks.
2) I wonder if our bathtub is big enough to test the PFD.
