Apparently summer has ended. That's the official decree on all of the news stations this weekend, despite 90 degree weather being forecast through Wednesday, as Labor Day has come and gone. By my definition of summer (anything over about 50) summer will be here through November. I remember on our first year up here we arrived at the end of October to temperatures in the high 70's.
Besides, why is it so sad that summer is "over"? We can still play football outside until it hits 30 below (annual UCM tradition at both Thanksgiving and Super bowl parties)
