Half Cherokee and Choctaw?

Went to the dentist yesterday (had 1 cavity, which is 1 too many) where the dentist asked if Amanda was part American Indian. She tells me she's never been asked that before. So, what do you think, is my baby a Chippewa (or any other American Indian)?
