I'm one of those quirky types that actually read contracts (heresy?) much to Amanda's amusement whenever we open a new account so we don't sign our first born over in a car transaction or our second born in a house transaction.
A came across this peculiar little clause in one contract today.
"The word 'or' includes the word 'and'".
That was the clause, it's a beaut! Now that the precedent has been set I feel free to create my own legal mumbo-jumbo, perhaps "The word 'no' includes the word 'yes'". This way I get whatever I want!
Sorry hon, you signed the contract, right here in clause 87.b.2.c.44.vii it says "The word 'no' includes the word 'yes'". So, that's a yes, yay for me!
