After we couldn't find the Monticello Corner Cafe on our drive up to farm country North Dakota we stopped at a Perkins where I noticed that they were offering a short-stack of pancakes for $3.99 and top them with either blueberry or strawberry stuff for an additional $1.99, grand total $5.98 for 3 pancakes. They additionally were offering a 5-stack of blueberry or strawberry stuff pancakes for $5.99 which led me to wonder whether it costs them less than one penny to make the extra two blueberry/strawberry pancakes.
